CLASS DESCRIPTION
Two Classes in One!! This is a tape-in extension class focusing on application, placement and color matching, taught by Jan-Marie Arteca and precision cutting by Liam Carey, who will be showing you how to seamlessly blend extension hair into clients' real hair using a combo of shears, razor, and thinning shears all while maintaining length and body.
ABOUT THE INSTRUCTORS
JAN-MARIE ARTECA (Tape-in Extensions)
Jan-Marie Arteca has spent over a decade working in the beauty industry in New York City. With an expertise in color, keratin treatments and extensions, she’s sought out not only by New Yorkers, but also by influencers and celebrities. She has worked with such names as Anne Hathaway, Lake Bell and Ashley Greene, just to name a few.
Jan is Great Lengths and Klix Extension Certified and brings several years of experience and knowledge to the table. After taking her class, you will learn the ins and outs of tape-in extensions and be able to learn some of the skills that has brought on her cult-like following and make them your own.
LIAM CAREY (Precision Cutting)
Liam Carey is owner of Broome & Beauty and is in the process of opening his second salon in Newburgh, NY, Liberty & Beauty. He has been in the industry over 15 years and has been featured in Elle, Marie Claire, Martha Stewart Weddings, Oprah, The Today Show and much more.
He will be teaching the precision cutting aspect of this class. Liam will show you how to seamlessly blend extension hair into clients' real hair using a combo of shears, razor, and thinning shears all while maintaining length and body.
Having worked several times together over the years, Jan and Liam will be bringing a lot of value to this class. After taking their class, you will walk away with a new skill-set that not everyone can offer.
